Where to go for your Bridal MakeOver?

Hey Girls so I know selecting a Salon for your bridal makeup can be difficult. I am here to help.
This post has reviews about some of the leading bridal salons in Pakistan. Note that all reviews are given by brides who went to these salons. Experience may vary from person to person.

Rawalpindi/Islamabad

1. Sadaf Farhan Salon & Bridal Studio

Charges: 70,000 PKR

Brides Words: The whole experience was totally worth it. The makeup was perfect! She literally took 2 mins to understand what I wanted and the makeup stayed as it is till 2 in the night! The girl who did my hair was super professional as well! She fixed my super heavy dupatta so awesomely! That I didn't have to worry about my dupatta at all! It stayed put for around 8 hours!! 
Note: Sadaf Farhan is also taking bookings for senior artist makeups and the reviews are not so good. This whole review is about her signature makeup.

Brides Words: A very talented makeup artist. The whole experience was excellent. She knows how to keep the natural look alive. Love the service, ambience, staff & quality of product used.

Note: This review is based on the feedback I got from a few brides and also her facebook page. People have great things to say about her and I am completely in love with how amazing her work is. 

3. Sobias Salon & Bridal Studio

Brides Words: The whole experience was not worth it. I never used makeup before so I wanted a very soft and subtle look but I found it pretty cakey and the girls really messed up my hairstyle. I also found the management pretty rude. 

Note: This review is based on limited peoples experience. I am sure that a salon that has made such a big name for themselves is better than this. But as promised I am delivering the reviews as I got them. 

4. Royli Salon & Studio

Brides Words: The whole experience was okayish. They give a very model type look to all their brides with very heavy makeup. Even though the whole look was not what I wanted but I was looking pretty and got alot of compliments. But I found the management pretty rude and careless. They made us wait for a very long time and got me late for my shoot.

Note: This review is based on limited brides experience. Some might have had a pretty great time at Royli. Their facebook reviews have a lot of 5 star ratings. You can their facebook reviews out as well.

5. Moshaz Beauty Salon & Studio

Brides Words: I had my barat and walima makeup done by Shazia and Mona. I felt very comfortable and they gave me the perfect looks that I wanted for both days. Excellent services and of very good quality.  

Note: I personally love Moshaz. I had my own Mehndi makeup done from their. The whole experience was really nice. Also this place is super affordable. 

6. Ummaraz Salon & Academy

Brides Words: It was an amazing and marvellous experience at Ummaraz salon for my mehndi and baraat makeover. All the staff members are very cooperavtive and friendly. The rates are also very reasonable.

Note: I always go to Ummaraz for my facial and can actually vouch for the nice staff behaviour. Don't have any experience with their makeup though. I have heard that their base stays for super long time.

7. Jugnu Wasims Salon & Studio

Charges:  Starting from 15000 PKR
Signature Makeup & Hair: 6/10

Brides Words:  I went to Jugnus Chaklala Scheme 3! And that was the biggest mistake EVER! It involved a Never Ending Wait started. It was like a fish Market of brides! AND MY MAKEUP DIDN’T START TILL 6! Ready time 5!! The management people were so rude! And when it came to the makeup.. They didn’t care what I was asking for.. The end result was.. what can I say.. NOT SUBTLE AT ALL! I hated how I looked so mature and aunty-ish! And then the hairstyling.. Man they don’t care what hairstyle you want.. They’ll do whatever is “easy”! And they take extra money for everything.. Even the fillings! And they’ll just stop until you give them the money! 

Note: The bride speaking is me! And after my Shadi series post.. I got to know that everyone had the same experience!

8. Daniella's Signature Salon 

Charges: Was charging 60k pkr 4 months back

Brides Words: Had an amazing experience at Daniellas. Loved my look for both days. She listens to whatever is in your mind and is totally focused. Highly recommended.  

Note: I don't really have any personal comments about this.

9. Eiman's Makeup Lounge

Charges: No Idea :3 Couldn't get this detail

Brides Words: I got my engagement makeup and hair done at Eimans Makeup Lounge and it was a wonderful experience. Eiman did an exceptional job with the make up and Maha worked with her for the perfect hairdo. Eiman is a very pleasant and professional lady. Would recommend the salon highly!  

Note: SHE HAS A PICTURE WITH KIM K. AND MARIO ON HER PAGE :O (Irrelevant) But I am actually loving her bridal looks!
