Channa Chawal

HEY! Here is the super easy recipe of the Channa Chawal that I learned to make! ^_^ So all you need : 1 and a 1/2 cup Rice (soaked in water) 1 cup boiled chickpeas (Safed Channay) 1/2 cup Oil 2 medium sized Onions sliced 2 medium sized Tomatoes sliced 2 to 3 green chilies sliced Salt to taste 1 teaspoon Garam Masala 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 2 tablespoon National Pulao Masala Mix 1 chicken cube  3 cup water DIRECTIONS: Heat oil in a pan and fry onion. Now add tomatoes and green chillies. Fry until onions are golden brown. Keeping a medium flame, add the Chicken cube, Pulao Masala Mix, Salt, Garam Masala, Red chili powder and Turmeric.  Mix well and then add the chickpeas.  Add rice to the pot first and mix. (Rice will not get soggy or soft by doing this) Now add water in the end. Cook on a high flame till the water starts drying and you start seeing rice on the surface. THE DRESS I have so many details to share here that I actually don't know where to start from! The Baraats dress was my main concern! Baraat is probably the most important event in a wedding. (I think so) And That is why I put the most thoughts in my baraats dress!  One thing I knew from the very start.. A Red dress is a BIG NO! Everyone has their own preferences.. I just didn't want a red bridal dresses! I was adamant to have NO RED in bridal dress but my mother convinced me to atleast keep the lehnga red!  When you are deciding what dress you want.. You have to keep the whole look in your mind! If you want to be a traditional bride or a modern bride! What jewellery to wear.. What kinda hairstyle.. EVERY SINGLE THING!  I decided on Gold with Red! My mother wanted a dress FULLLLL OF KAAM! So We tried to find something according to it. We went to Liberty Lahore alot of times! Till we finally found this dress! Mango Cream

Its literally just Mango and Cream! This super simple dessert takes just 2 minutes!! (Excluding the mango cutting time) :P But if you are a new bee and cooking just takes everything out of you and you justttttt don't want to put any effort in the dessert when you are having a dawat.. This dish is your saviour! Its theperfect summer dessert for all the mango lovers!! So all you need : 3 kg Mangoes (Nice small cubes) 2 packs of any milk cream  1 cup sugar DIRECTIONS: When you are done with cutting the mango into cubes, spread the cubes in a dish (In which you'll serve the dessert) Pour two packs of cream in a bowl and add sugar to it. Use an egg beater or hand blender to mix and whip! Make sure the cream is still liquid-y. Now pour the whipped cream on top of the mangoes!  Put it in the freezer for about 2 to 3 hours! Refreshing Mango dessert is ready to serve!!!
